Improve participants’ lives through particularized strategies of building support systems and coping skills, and providing services that aid the participant in making better choices.
Forge and strengthen partnership between law enforcement and the community.
Increase public trust in the court system.
Improve quality of life and public safety in the court’s catchment areas: 75215, 75210, 75223 zip codes.

Program Requirements
9-18 month pre-trial community court for felony and misdemeanor offenses
Target Population:
-
17-30 year olds
-
Non-violent Offenders
-
Drug/Drug Related offenses: e.g. possession, manufacturing, delivery Drugs, Theft, Evading Arrest, among other offenses
Expectations:
-
Submit to social services assessments
-
Attend weekly court hearings
-
Abide by Court Orders
-
Drug Testing
-
Education
-
Job Skills Training
-
Counseling
-
Making and Attending Medical and/or Mental Health appointments
-
Community Service, etc.
Result: Upon successful completion of the program, participants pending cases are dismissed and expunged.
